New: attendance device integration

Connect your company's attendance devices to SaudHR

The SaudHR Attendance Agent runs on a PC inside your office. It reads punches from the attendance devices on your local network and sends them to SaudHR over an encrypted connection that starts from your side. No public IP, and no ports opened on your router.

  • The device stays inside your company network
  • No public IP required
  • No port forwarding on your router
  • A secure outbound connection, started by the agent
  • Automatic punch synchronisation
  • Multiple devices and locations
  • Device user IDs mapped to employees
  • Per-device status and sync monitoring
  • Punches kept during an internet outage and sent later

Architecture designed to support compatible biometric attendance devices. We confirm your device model's compatibility during onboarding.

Location-verified attendance

Attendance tied to the approved workplace

An administrator sets the approved workplace and its radius in metres. When someone checks in or out, the location is verified on the server — not on the employee device.

About privacy

Location is requested only when someone performs a check-in or check-out, and only to verify the approved workplace radius. There is no continuous or background tracking of employees in the current product.

  • The administrator sets the location and the radius in metres.
  • An employee can be linked to more than one approved workplace.
  • Three policies: no location required, geofence required, or geofence required with a recorded exception.
  • The decision is always made on the server, and stored with the calculated distance.

Request and approval

  1. The employee submits

A leave permission or a leave request, with reason, date and time.

  2. The manager reviews

Requests arrive in the manager queue with their full details.

  3. The decision is recorded

Approval or rejection is stored with who decided and when, in the audit trail.
